This multi-tenant Tier III data center was designed with a critical IT load of 25.6 MW with a calculated PUE of 1.2 or lower. It achieves the best possible and practical balance between increased efficiency (reduced PUE). The intent was to reduce both the total cost of ownership (build costs and operating costs), and to provide greater flexibility with regard to modularity (through multiple phases of construction in logical building blocks). This affords the facility to provide greater variable room densities (including the ability to respond to changes in densities from within each computer room).
